What a wonderful evening in a marvelous setting!!! Especially the part where I was dragged on stage to perform with the dancers. Don't worry, it's only becuase I was sitting in the front row. The buffet served was just a small selection of canapes but the vodka and great performances more than made up for it.

I was realy impressed of the knowlwedge of our young guide. She was only 19 years old. She was very proffesional, nice, warm and had a hudge knowledge of St.petersburg's history and famous tradtions. The lunch was not good, we would prefere some more modern place and food.

All the tours in St Petersburg went well, including Peterhof on 8 July, the City Tour on 9 July, and Boat Tour rescheduled to 9 July. St Petersburg is certainly one of the Great cities of the World worth travelling more than 20 hours by plane from Australia to visit in the warmth and light of Summer! (but not in the freezing cold and dark of Winter of course!). Many thanks go to Dimitri who was the very knowledgeable guide sharing the fascinating Russian history on all three tours, and who was always on time.

The show was very interesting and entertaining. The food served was below par but not a major issue. We were not informed of the change of time (due to longer day light) until last minute. Show started 9 p,m. instead of the 7 pm booked and we ended up going on the night city tour which started at 11 p.m. As we had a 6.30 a.m. train to catch, we cut short the tour by 12:30 a.m. as we were too tired and too cold to enjoy the tour.

Silly comment, but the champagne at the reception and dinner was a good touch. How ever is it possible to chill it a little use of ice buckets or ice chest. Just my comment to a nice evening.

This was absolutely brillant and highly informative, the guide was exceptional and knew all about the art and exhibitions in the gallery. She was able to explain clearly about paintings, she knew shortcuts through building, how to avoid the ques etc.. Highly recommened a must do

Our personal guide, Alex, walked us around and explained in detail every facet of the Hermitage. He was very kind and courteous. We did not expect a personal guide. Maybe we did not read the fine print but perhaps you might review your advertising material because it is a big positive for the tour.
